Please join us as we welcome Amy Perry, Director of Development & Communications with Living Well Group.  Living Well is a small Vermont nonprofit organization that operates two Level III residential care homes in Vermont, Heaton Woods Residence in Montpelier and Ethan Allen Residence in Burlington.  Living Well works to raise more awareness in local communities about what services it provides to vulnerable older adults who may be finding it increasingly difficult to remain at home safely.   

Join us to carve pumpkins in memory of Kay Santamore, a long standing staff member of The World, who was a key member of the Rotary World Santa Coat service project each year.  Ruth Weeks (another World staff member) is creating a pumpkin patch in memory of Kay with lit pumpkins.  Barre Rotary will have ten pumpkins on hand, with some carving instruments, but we urge members to bring a pumpkin & carving tools.  We'll bring bowls for seeds & pulp.  Join us for this very Halloween activity for a good cause in memory of a good person.  

Facilitated by member Tony Campos, we are thrilled to announce that legendary New England storyteller & writer Willem Lange will be joining us to read Edgar Allen Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart for our members & guests on this Hallow's Eve.  This will be our Club Assembly meeting so plan on 1.5 hours & we encourage a suitably spooky costume to set the mood!  Please invite friends & family to this wonderful storytelling event.  

All members, and especially Officers & Committee Chairs, are encouraged to attend this District Fall Training being held in Waterbury today.  Location will be added closer to the time.

We will not be meeting today.  We hope all members will join us for our Rotary World Santa Service project on Saturday, December 7th at 10 am at the Vermont Granite Museum.  This is one of our most fun & memorable service projects of the year!  

Join us for our jolliest annual service project!  Collaborating with The World, the Barre Salvation Army & with other area Rotary Clubs, Barre Rotary wraps over 125 new coats, mitts & hats for local kids who need cozy outer wear.  Sure to bring a smile to our Community!  

Doug Bullett will be talking about Partnership for Peace which is a membership organization for any Rotarian, Peace Corps volunteer, PC staff, or RPCV, who also wants to be a friend of the Peace Corps or Rotary and believes that by working together we can enhance and expand the work and missions of both organizations, including the National Peace Corps Association and its members and affiliate groups.

Join us today for our Club Assembly as we discuss our current projects & service activities.  We will receive updates from all Committees & this meeting will last 1.5 hours.  We look forward to your presence & input!
